Hello and welcome to my blog!!

Today completes the first week of construction on my new home. I hope that you all will follow me through my process of building a new Martha Stewart home in Atlanta, GA (Fairburn, GA - 15 minutes outside of the city).

Before we get started on this journey I would like to give you a little background on the new homebuilding concept involving Martha Stewart and KB Home (KB). KB partnered with leading lifestyle expert Martha Stewart to create high-quality homes inspired by her very own homes in New York, Connecticut and Maine. The first community is being built in N.C. with the second outside of Atlanta. The subsequent communities are planned for suburbs of Houston and L.A. Now, on to my process. From the first viewing of the model homes in Hampton Oaks (Martha's Atlanta community) you're hooked!

The attention to details and decorative appointments are impeccable and tastefully exceed other builder's cookie cutter floorplans and models. Now, the only thing to dilute the euphoria induced by the model homes is the horror of the upgrade process!!!
